William (Tom) Thomas Ellis

William Thomas (Tom) Ellis, age 68 of Blue Ridge, passed away Friday, September 22, 2017 at his home after battling Leukemia for the last year. Tom was born May 15, 1949 in Anderson, IN to the late Bill Ellis and the late Ilene Pearce Ellis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by grandparents, Truman and Edith Ellis. Tom was a Mason, a Shriner and served his country enlisting in the US Air  Force and he worked for the  FAA as a Technical Engineer.
Survivors include spouse, Katherine Roberts Ellis, daughter, Rachel (Mike) Gustin, son, Tony Curtis, son, Logan Ellis, son, Kenny Ellis with Fiancé Baylee Bitzel, three brothers, Roger Ellis, Mike Ellis and Ron Ellis, aunt, Bobbie Jo Longino and eight grandchildren, Tristen, Mason, Stewie, Ruby, Ayden, Christian, Audrey and Payson.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Elliot officiating. Interment will follow in Chastain Memorial Park Cemetery. The gentlemen serving as Pallbearers will be Tony Curtis, Logan Ellis, Kenny Ellis, Mike Gustin, Tristen Davenport and Jamie Elliot. Honorary pallbearers are brothers, Roger, Mike and Ron Ellis. Masonic rites will be administered by the McCay Masonic Lodge 423 F. & A.M. and military honors will be provided by the North GA Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home, Wednesday, September 27, 2017 from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
