Mr. William Blaine Collins, Sr. age 79 of Morganton, GA passed away April 16, 2013 at his home. Mr. Collins was born April 18, 1933 in Morganton, GA to the late Millard Cofield Collins and the late Minnie Davis Collins. A member of Temple Baptist Church, he was preceded in death by his wife Ann White Collins, 2 sisters, Helen Green, Hazel Cantrell & a brother Bill Potts, and son in law, David Blaine.

Survivors include: daughter & son-in-law, Belinda (Wayne) King, daughter & son-in-law, Betsy (Tony) Sandoval, son & daughter-in-law, William Blaine (Robin) Collins, Jr. ex wife, Blanch Dyer Harrell, & her son Thomas (Christie) Gilbert, step-son, Larry (Joan) White, step-son, Michael (Donna) White, step-son, Lynn (Yvonne) White, sister, Haven Kiker, brother, Blake Collins, & sister, Mary Housley, 14 Grandchildren & 1 Great Grandchild.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Temple Baptist Church with the Rev. Roger Beck officiating. Interment will follow in Concord Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge on Friday, April 19, 2013 from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, family has requested donations be made in memory of Blaine to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society by going on line at www.lls.org or by mail at 3715 N. Parkway, Bldg. 400, Northcreek, Suite 300, Atlanta, GA. 30327.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, GA. You may send condolences to the family and sign the guest register at www.cochranfuneralhomes.com.
