William "Billy" Aaron Towe

Mr. William "Billy" Aaron Towe, age 81 of McCaysville, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at the Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper. Mr. Towe was born June 27, 1934 in Rome, GA to the late Fred Towe and the late Pearl Key Towe. A member of Kingtown Baptist church, he was preceded in death by brothers, LaDale Towe and Jerry Towe, and sisters, Elaine Ayers and Doris Ballew Green. In his spare time, Billy enjoyed woodworking, watching and playing sports, boating and riding motorcycles.

Survivors include loving wife, JoAnn Parris Towe, son, William Scott (Denise) Towe, son, Gregory (Mary Jo) Towe, son, Tim (Beth) Towe, Sr., daughter, Vickie Towe, son, Todd Aaron (Rebecca) Towe, brother, Alton (Louise) Towe, sister, Desma (Bud) Chastain, 13 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Parris, Rev. Jason Towe and Rev. Travis Davenport officiating. Interment will follow in the Copper Ridge Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Timothy Towe, Jr., Jason Towe, Keaton Towe, Mitchel Barker, Cody Towe and Colton Towe.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, November 28, 2015 from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm.
