William "bill" Bowers

William "Bill" Thomas Bowers, 84 years old of Mineral Bluff, GA, passed away on January 24, 2010 at Life Care Center of Copper Basin.
He was born in Fannin Co., GA, April 16, 1925 the son of Sim and Bervia Bowers.
He was a World War II Army veteran and an Elder at his church, the McCaysville Church of Christ. Bowers enjoyed camping and fishing, serving his church & loving his family.
Surviving are; wife, Della Bowers, son, Kenneth Bowers, son, Junior Bowers, daughter, Mary Anndeleen Henson, son, Jerry Bowersbrother, Randall Bowers, eight grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren, neices and nephews.
He was preceded in death by father, Sim Bowers, mother, Bervia Bowers & three grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, GA on Tuesday, January 27, 2010 from 6:00-9:00pm.
Services will be held at the McCaysville Church Of Christ at 2:00pm on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 with Minister, Keith Richie & Minister, Bill Johnston officiating with the North Georgia Honor Guard presenting.
Interment will follow in the Church of Christ cemetery.
