William Lyvers

William Carl Lyvers, aged 90, of Hayesville, NC passed away at his home on January 12, 2023.

Carl moved to Clay County from Kentucky in 1959. He was a retired carpenter. His greatest joy was having his family around him.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, George and Lillian Lyvers of Louisville, KY; two sisters, Ethel Hofelich and Ann Postell of Ky.

He is survived by 8 sons; Bill (Willa Jean)Lyvers; Ken (Jane) Lyvers; Keith (Linda) Lyvers; Tony (Becky) Lyvers; John (Phyliss) Lyvers; Thomas (Rita) Lyvers; Michael (Dewana) Lyvers; and David (Pat) Lyvers of Missouri; 3 daughters, Theresa (Mike) Callahan; Mary (Scott) Stopel of Hayesville; and Margaret Lynnes of Robinsville; 26 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will take place Friday, January 20th for 5:00 pm to 7:00pm at Cochran Funeral Home of Murphy.
