William Edward Krauss

William Edward Krauss, Jr., age 65, of Murphy, passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021, at Erlanger Western Carolina Hospital. Mr. Krauss was born March 10, 1956, in Amityville, NY, to William Edward Krauss, Sr., and the late Audrey Marie Pierce Krauss. He was a US Navy veteran. In his younger years he enjoyed surfing and loved watching and playing golf throughout his life. William took care of his mother till her passing. He considered his friends in Murphy a part of his family. He truly had a big heart, and always had a smile on his face. Mr. Krauss was employed at Moog Components Group in Murphy. He was preceded in death by his mother, Audrey Marie Pierce Krauss and sister, Betty Ann Young.

Survivors include his father, William Edward Krauss, Sr., daughter, Ashton Krauss, and brother, Tom F. Krauss.
