William S. Davis Sr.

William Samuel Davis Sr, 79, of Blue Ridge, Georgia, passed away Thursday, July 6, 2023. Bill was born December 21, 1943, in Mineral Bluff, GA to Cliff and Lucille Davis. Bill was preceded in death by father, Cliff Davis; mother, Lucille Davis; sister, Doris Jean (Bob) Thrasher; and sister, Geraldine Owenby.

He is survived by his son William Samuel Davis Jr.; daughter Heather (Jeff) Boyle;  grandson Jake (Cassie) Rhodes; grandson William Samuel (Kacey) Davis III;  grandson Cooper Boyle; sister Betty Davis Mathis; brother Bobby Davis; sister Cheryl (Freddie) Ballew; and brother Ricky Davis.

He was a member of Toccoa Baptist Church. Bill was an avid outdoorsman who could always be found in the mountains with his dogs, hunting, fishing, and camping.  Bill loved his family, especially spending time with his grandsons.

The family will receive family and friends at Henry Cochran Funeral Home on Sunday, July 9, 2023, from 12:00 - 2:30 PM.
