William David Cohn

William David McCarter Cohn “Dave”, age 65, of Copperhill, TN, passed away August 13, 2021, at Seasons Hospice. Dave was born October 28, 1955, in Baton Rouge, LA, to the late William Howard McCarter, the late Barbara Tarver Speights, and his adoptive father, the late Lawrence Henry "Bob" Cohn. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in McCaysville/Copperhill.

Survivors include his loving wife of 27 years, Lisa Cohn, stepdaughter, Amanda Collver of Oregon; stepson, Ryan Siler of McCaysville, GA; sons, Todd Cohn and David Cohn, Jr., of Baton Rouge, LA; 8 grandchildren, brothers, Mark McCarter & Doug McCarter, and sister, Becky McCarter, all of Baton Rouge.

Funeral services: Friday, September 10, 2021, at 3:00 pm at the First Baptist Church of McCaysville, with Rev. Matthew McDaniel, officiating. The family will receive friends at the church just prior to the funeral from 2:00pm-3:00 pm. Interment will be at the Crestlawn Cemetery in Copperhill, TN.
