Friend, husband, and father. Bill was loved by so many. Even through his recent health struggle he would routinely go out and help his friends and family with anything they needed, because he had a true servant's heart. Although he'd lived and worked in many places, these mountains were his home. He was happiest outdoors, whether working or playing. He loved sharing adventures with anyone, whether fishing, kayaking, hiking, or camping.
He planned his Celebration of Life which was held at Cherokee Lake on April 7th, since he never missed a good gathering. He wanted to appreciate and validate each person who came, even though we couldn't get the word out to everyone in time. We will all be poorer for his absence but ever richer for having him in our lives.
