William Cecil Moody

Mr. William Cecil Moody, Jr. age 76 of Blue Ridge, GA, passed away peacefully in his sleep Thursday, March 10, 2011 at his residence after a long illness. Mr. Moody was born in Perry, GA to William Cecil Moody, Sr. and Martha Holleman Moody on October 16, 1934. Mr. Moody was a 1961 University of Georgia graduate, a retired pharmacist of 40 years and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include, wife, Jean Moody; three daughters, Angela (Mark) Lackey of Leesburg, Fl., Susan (Greg) Douglas of Trenton, Fl., and Kay Moody of Clarksville, Ga; one sister, Faye Wilson of Perry, Ga; six grandchildren, Lauren and Jay Lackey, Jared and Jacob Douglas, and Jenna and Josh Naylor.

A graveside service will take place on March 14, 2011 at 11:30 am at the Evergreen Cemetery in Perry, Ga with Dr. Greg Douglas officiating. The Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, GA will be in charge of arrangements. You may send condolences to the family and sign the guest register at www.cochranfuneralhomes.com.
