William Snyder

William "Bill" Andrew Snyder, 78, of Young Harris, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at Murphy Rehab and Nursing Home in Murphy, NC. Bill was born August 27, 1945, in Oil City, PA to Andrew and Sarah Synder and grew up Clearfield PA.

Bill was preceded in death by father, Andrew Synder; mother, Sarah Synder; and son, David Synder.

He is survived by his partner, Victoria Hartsock; son, Timothy Synder; daughter, Rebecca Cowan; sisters, Dorothy Drake and Pamela Armimos.

Bill worked for the Kmart Company as a manger for 21 years and then moved into the automotive industry for more than 20 years. He enjoyed the hobby of cars and racing. In highschool he played basketball and football and enjoyed watching racing and football throughout his life. Bill was a great dad and enjoyed spending time with his kids. He and Victoria loved traveling and spending time together. Bill loved raising their four dogs.
