Mr. Willard David Head, age 78 of Morganton, passed away November 17, 2013 at 231 Mountain Rd.. Mr. Head was born October 12, 1935 in Blairsville, GA to the late Ernest Head and the late Nicie Black . He enjoyed dancing and taking care of horses.
Survivors include: son, Ronald David Head, son, Richard Douglas Head, son, Joey Delayne Head, daughter, Hazel Ann (Bill) Cross, Brother, James Head, sister, Jane Jones, Brother, Lloyd Head, ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren.
Funeral services: Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Eric Davenport officiating. Pallbearers are: Michael Head, Marcus Head, Mason Head, Madison Head, Nevin Head and Nathan Robinson. Honorary Pallbearers are: Ruth Bramlett, Corbin Head, Conrad Head, Addison Head, Payton Franklin, Emma Head and Cayden Robinson. Interment will follow in the Head Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Tuesday, November 19, 2013 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
