W. C. Campbell, age 79 of Morganton, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2008 . Mr. Campbell was born Tuesday, July 17, 1928 in Graham Co., NC to the late A. C. Campbell and the late Nora Lynn Graham Campbell. He had worked as a painter and heavey equipment operator and loved working with and careing for his horses. He was preceded in death by sister, Janice Campbell, brothers, J.E. Campbell, Leffel Campbell and Gordon Campbell..

Survivors include: sister, Arzela Herndon of Blue Ridge, brother & sister in law, Ralph & Rachel Campbell of Blue Ridge, sister, Pearl Wilder of Kennesaw, GA, brother & sister in law, Wayne & Sandi Campbell of Sharpesburg, GA, brother, David Campbell of Fayetteville, GA.

There will be a vistation of family and friends Saturday 10:00AM till 3:00 PM Saturday at the Henry Cochran Funeral Home Interment will follow in Chastain Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers are: Danny Key, Gene Davis, Harold Herndon and Tim Walden.
