Wanda Faye Danner

Mrs. Wanda Faye Danner, age 73 of Ducktown, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Danner was born June 9, 1941 in McCaysville, GA to the late C.C. Ingram and the late Ruby Reiordan Ingram. A member of the Mine City Baptist Church, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ray and Butch Ingram. Wanda was a talented artist and musician. She liked the color lavender. She played the piano for several churches in the area including Mine City and she also played for the children's music ministry.

Survivors include loving husband of 55 years, Gerald Danner, son, Derrick Danner, son and daughter-in-law, Darren and Alison Danner, daughter, Jennifer Danner, and four grandchildren, Zachary Danner, Brittany Danner, Brandon Danner, and Hayden Danner.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 4, 2015 at 2:30 pm at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Keith Smith and Rev. Travis Davenport officiating. Music provided by the Mine City Quartet. Interment will follow in the Crestlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers include Terry Abernathy, Bud Taylor, Tom Ledford, Keith Ledford, Webb Chastain, Matt Sandifer. Honorary pallbearers include Mitchell Holder, Jackie Russell, Doug Dilbeck, Larry Kimsey, Mike Davis, L.W. Smith, Danny Queen, Mark Stone, Ron Singleton, Craig Green, Don Dilbeck, Clyde Loudermilk, and Billie Joe Barnes.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 5:30-8:30 pm.
The family will be accepting flowers or you may send a donation in Wanda's memory to the Mine City Baptist Church Children's Music Ministry or the Mobile Baptist Church Children's Music Ministry.
