Wanda Faye Abercrombie

Wanda Faye Abercrombie, age 74, of Dawsonville, GA, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2023, in Cumming, GA. Wanda was born April 30, 1949, in McCaysville, GA to Earl and Marie Caylor. Wanda was preceded in death by her father, Earl Caylor; mother, Marie Harrison; daughter, Hannah Abercrombie; and sisters, Frances Harris and Barbara Ledford. 

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Troy Abercrombie; son, Marcus (Candy) Abercrombie; grandchildren, Macayla Abercrombie, Mackenzie Abercrombie, Greyson Abercrombie, Addison Abercrombie, and Jeremiah Bell. 

She was a lifelong church organist and pianist and attended Salem #2, Rockbridge, and Free Chapel Gainesville Church.

Funeral Service Thursday, September 28, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Finch-Cochran Funeral Home with Rev. Joseph Dover officiating. Music provided by The Caylor Family. Committal service by Randy Hooper at Salem # 2 cemetery with internment following the service.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Greyson Abercrombie, Billy Dover, Michael Beaver, Max Dover, Matthew Bollinger, and Kevin Harris. 

The family will receive friends at Finch-Cochran Funeral Home on Wednesday, 27th of September, 2023, 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM and Thursday, September 28, 2023, from 12 noon until 1:00 pm.
