Mr. Walter James Linsley, age 85 of Lithonia, GA, formerly of Hiawassee and Ft. Pierce, FL, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2007 at Heartland Hospice. Mr. Linsley was born Monday, December 19, 1921 in New Haven County, CT to the late Benjamin Palmer Linsley and the late Phyllis Jenkins Linsley. Mr. Linsley was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alma Linsley.
Mr. Linsley is survvied by his son, Bruce Linsley of Lithonia, GA, daughters, Janis Reagan of Lithonia, GA and Sally Ann Stokes of FT. Pierce, FL.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at 11:00 AM from the Macedonia Baptist Church with Rev. Harold Ledford officiating.
The Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
