Virginia "Mickey" Witzel Bailey

Virginia "Mickey" Witzel Bailey, age 78 of Mc Caysville, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Bailey was born May 31, 1936 in Blue Ridge, GA to the late Everett Witzel and Effie Foster Witzel. She attended McCaysville First Baptist Church, enjoyed sewing and gardening. She was preceded in death by sisters, Lillian Witzel, Dorothy Davenport and Jan Jones, brother, Clyde Witzel.

Survivors include: husband, Boyd J. Bailey, daughter, Diane Bailey, nephews, Steve Davenport, Michael Jones, niece, Connie Fox.

Funeral services: Monday, March 16, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Delmar Davenport officiating. Music provided by: Dewayne Housley. Interment will follow in Crestlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers: Chuck Foster, Max Housley, Steve Davenport, Scott Bailey, Mitchell Taylor and Tim Housley. Honorary pallbearers: Tommy Quintrell, Larry Foster, Ron Bailey and Chris Foster.

The family will receive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home of , Sunday, March 15, 2015, 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
