Virginia Mary Anderson

Miss Virginia Mary Anderson, age 96 of Blue Ridge, passed away January 8, 2015 at Pruitt Health Care In Blue Ridge. Miss Anderson was born January 18, 1918 in Mineral Bluff, GA to the late Frank Kell Anderson and the late Minnie Bell Williams Anderson. Of the Baptist faith, she was preceded in death by brothers, Edmond Anderson, Reid Anderson, Glen Anderson, sisters, Urania Pittman, Kathleen Mull, Ruby Pritchett, nephew, Lowell Anderson and niece, Thelma Jarrard. Miss Anderson liked to watch golf and enjoyed reading.

Survivors include: nieces, Rowanda (Ed) Lindley, Frances (Ferrell) Earley, Anna (Floyd) Roper, Mary Kay Griffin, nephews, Bobby (Ella Mae) Anderson and Steve (Renee) Mull.

Funeral services: Sunday, January 11, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobby Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in Chastain Memorial Park. Pallbearers: Ferrell Earley, Bobby Anderson, Greg Roper, Jeff Roper, Kenneth Gene Barnes and Ronnie Lynn Porter Sr. Honorary pallbearers: Ed Lindley, Floyd Roper, Steve Mull and Terry Roper.

The family will receive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home of McCaysville, Saturday, January 10, 2015, 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
