Virginia Dillard

Virginia Dillard, age 85, of Blue Ridge,GA, passed away on September 25, 2021, at her residence. She was born October 28, 1935, in Blue Ridge, GA, to the late Carl Bearden and the late Gladys Jones Bearden. Virginia was a hard worker and a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a life-long resident of Blue Ridge, retired from Levi's after 39 years, a fan of the Georgia Bulldogs and Bill Elliott. Virginia was also a member of McCaysville Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her brother, Leland Bearden.

Survivors include: son, Steve (Tracy) Dillard, daughter, Yohna Teasley, daughter, Melissa Dillard, sisters, Carol Fain and Cheryl (Steve) Ballew, grandchildren, Tim Teasley, Michael (Michelle) Teasley, Jason (Missy) Teasley, Luke Dillard, Stephanie Dillard, Joshua Dillard, Savannah Dillard, Abbie Dillard, Clay Dillard, and eight great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Thursday, September 30, 2021, 10:00 am - 11:00 am.

Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday, September 30, 2021, following visitation at the Macedonia Church Of Christ Cemetery, Blue Ridge, GA, with Minister Keith Richie officiating. Music provided by Keith and Kelvin Davenport and family members.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Tim Teasley, Luke Dillard, Jason Teasley, Josh Dillard, and Michael Teasley.

The family would like to thank Linda Holloway for the love and friendship she shown during her lifetime.
