Vincent Lake

Vincent W. Lake 100 of Acworth, Georgia passed away October 12, 2018. He was born October 9, 1918 in Cleveland, Ohio. Vincent was a veteran of WWII and served in England with the US Army Air Corps in the 8th Air Force 56th fighter group in intelligence. After the war he continued his career as a commercial artist starting a successful studio, Lake Artists, which he retired from. Vincent is survived by his son, Ronald V., daughter Susan Lamb (Gary), daughter-in-law Cheryl Cannon, and loving nieces and nephews. Vincent was preceded in death by his son, Dale W., loving wife Sophie (Plona) of 67 years, and siblings Jennie, Joseph, and Edward. A private service will be held at a later date.
