Mr. Vincent Charles Linquanti, age 60 of Murphy, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2016 at the Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN. Mr. Linquanti was born September 18, 1955 in Bronx, NY to the late George Thomas Linquanti and the late Vada Wease Linquanti. A member of the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, he was preceded in death by one brother, Tommy Linquanti. Vincent was a plumber by trade. He served his country bravely during the Vietnam War enlisting in the United States Navy. In his spare time he enjoyed playing golf, bowling, singing karaoke and in church. He loved spending time with his church family who were very important to him.
Survivors include loving wife, LaDonna Scruggs Linquanti, three daughters and one son, Angie, Shannon, Tiffany, and Steve, one sister and her partner, Terry and Micki, and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 1, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Murphy with the Rev. Keith Blalock and Rev. Paul Beaster officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers include Zack Blalock, Riley Blalock, Matthew Kilpatrick, Lucas Kilpatrick, Hunter Shope, and Zane Beaster.
The family will receive friends at the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church on Monday, February 1, 2016, from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm. Flowers will be accepted by the family or you can make a donation to the Gideons International, PO Box 164, Murphy, NC 28906.
