Verna Evelyn Pickelsimer

Verna Evelyn Pickelsimer, age 99 of Mineral Bluff, passed away Friday,December 5, 2014 at Copper Basin Medical Center. Mrs. Pickelsimer was born May 19, 1915 in Mineral Bluff, GA to the late Carl G. Heaton and the late Florence Frady Heaton. She was a member of Mineral Bluff Baptist Church, loved working in her flowers gardening, sewing and quilting. She was preceded in death by husband, David "D" Pickelsimer.

Survivors include: daughter and son in law, Wanda and James Pickelsimer, grandchildren, Shannon Miller and Brandie Sutton, great granddaughter, Montana Dilbeck.

Funeral services: Monday, December 8, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. William Long officiating. Interment will follow in Toccoa Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Steve Wilson, John Sutton, Nicholas Miller, Sammy Patterson, David Cook and Joe Stanley.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Sunday, December 7, 2014, 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
