Van Dalton Carver, age 67, of Copperhill, passed away Saturday, January 8, 2022, at his home. Mr. Carver was born September 28, 1954, in Ducktown, TN, to the late James Austin Carver and the late Jewell Dalton Carver. He was a member of Kingtown Baptist Church of McCaysville and was also a master craftsman. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, boating, camping, and just sitting by the campfire. He had an immense love for everyone, especially for his friends and family. He was preceded in death by his father, James Austin Carver, mother, Jewell Dalton Carver, brother, Dale Edward Carver, nephew, Kevin Towl, and his mother and father-in-law, Jeff & Ruby Forrester.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Forrester Carver, his "Yorkies", Millie, Mitzie, and Mandy, nieces and nephews, Stacy (Tonya) Towl, Keith (Debby) Carver, Erica (Bryan) McMillian, and Tracy Towl, great-nieces and great-nephews, and The Campground Family also survive.
Funeral services: Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at 1:00 pm at the Kingtown Baptist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Eddie Tanner and Rev. Joey Buchanan officiating. Music provided by Mary Jo Towe and Nicole Evans. Interment will follow in Kingtown Baptist Church Cemetery, McCaysville, GA. Pallbearers: Scott Helton, R.L. Guhter, Rob Gladson, Brad Gladson, Johnny Montgomery, and Tim Kaylor. Honorary pallbearers: Danny Joe Smith, John Fowler, and Brett Dobson.
