Troy Henderson, age 64, of Warne, NC, passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at Murphy Medical Center.
Troy was born in Union County, GA to the late Willie and Selma (Early) Henderson. He had worked as a heavy equipment operator in the construction business. Troy was of the Baptist Faith and attended Faith Tabernacle Church.
Troy is survived by his wife, Judy Henderson of the home, son & daughter-in-law, Ricky & Jessica Henderson Mull of Alto, GA, son & daughter-in-law, Terry William & Christie Henderson of Warne, NC, brother & sister-in-law, Vinson & Joyce Henderson of Young Harris, GA, sister & brother-in-law, Zell & Noel Barnard of Young Harris, GA, sister & brother-in-law, Gwendola & Phil Denton of Hiawassee, GA, sister & brother-in-law, Linda & Jerry Miller of Hayesville, NC, sister, Sharon Monkus of Warne, NC, 7 grandchildren, Nathan Mull, Christian Mull Brandon Mull, Taylor Mull, Devin Henderson, Roman Henderson and Easton Henderson.
Funeral services for Troy will be held Friday, September 24, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. from Many Forks Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Dyer officiating. Music will be provided by Faith Tabernacle Church Ladies Choir. Pallbearers will be Devin Henderson, Nathan Henderson, Ralph Lovell, Kenny Henderson, Tony Henderson and Eric Mulkey. Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Teems, Archie Coker, nephews and brothers-in-law. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Cochran Funeral Home in Hiawassee Thursday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m.
