Troy Dorsey Crose, Sr.

Troy Dorsey Crose, Sr., 77, passed away on April 14, 2022, in Gainesville, GA, after a brief illness.

Troy was born on January 4, 1945, in Winter Park, FL, to Troy and Vivian Crose. He graduated from Osceola High School in Kissimmee, FL, in 1962. Shortly after graduation, he joined the Air Force and was stationed in San Antonio, TX.

Troy and Karen Macy were married in Kissimmee, FL. They were married 58 years and had two children, Troy and Todd. He worked as an offset pressman in the printing industry and took great pride in the work he produced.

Troy enjoyed his family, friends, gardening, fishing, hunting, reading, John Wayne movies, other western/adventure movies, and his poodle, Buddy.

Troy is survived by Karen - spouse, Troy (Sandra) Crose, and Todd (Kerrie) Crose - sons. He is also survived by four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by Troy Crose, father, and Vivian Crose, mother.

The service for Troy will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel of Blairsville.
