Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee announces the death of Mrs. Tiney Kathleen Potts, age 90 of Hiawassee who passed away on Tuesday July 27th, 2021 at her home.
Mrs. Potts was born on July 23rd, 1931, a daughter to the late Thomas and Stella (Eller) Shook. She was a lifelong resident of Towns County and a proud mother, grandmother, and sister. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Potts and 6 siblings.
Survivors include her children; Willie Potts (Paula), Paula Carpenter, Susan Douty, and Wayne Potts; sister, Jewell Jones; 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild; a host of nieces and nephews also survive.
To honor her wishes, Mrs. Potts will be cremated and no services are planned at this time.
Arrangements are entrusted to Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee.
