Thomas Nevelle Burleson

Thomas Nevelle Burleson, age 64 of McCaysville, GA passed away April 13, 2020, at his home. Mr. Burleson was born June 24, 1955, in Houston, TX to the late Nevelle Burleson and the late Hazel Henson Burleson. A member of the Baptist Faith, he was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Burleson, and his sister, Rhonda Palimeter. Mr. Burleson was a veteran of the US Army and earned a Purple Heart and the National Service Defense Medal.

Survivors include: wife, Dawn Burleson, daughters, Theresa (Kenneth) Nix, Michelle (Mary-Ann) Karimi, Brandi (Joey) Smiley, Kimberley (Allen) Baeumel, and Sarena Burleson, sons, Brandon (Jackie) Reisen, Thomas Burleson, and Travis Burleson, sister, Ann Burleson, grandchildren, Andrew Burleson, Kaylie Moreno, Kyle Smiley, Lena Thomas, Keira Baeumel, Allie Baeumel, Cassandra Sigh, Anyanka Burleson, Ollyver Nix, Draven Reisen, Aria Reisen, Demetri Burleson, and Elijah Burleson, and former spouse, Darla Mader.
