Mr. Thomas L. Jones, age 68 of Morganton, GA, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2009 at Fannin Regional Hospital. Mr. Jones was born Wednesday, November 13, 1940 in Fannin Co. to the late Luther Jones and Ruth Pittman Jones. He was a member of Toccoa Baptist Church.

Survivors include: mother, Ruth Pittman Jones of Morganton, son, Thomas W. Jones of Alpena, Mich, son, Kirk Jones of Ellijay, Ga., daughter, Amy Bloom of Alpena, Mich, daughter, Lolene Roper of Wixom, Mich, brother, Terry Jones of Mineral Bluff, Ga., sister, Peggy Dilbeck of Morganton, Ga., grandson, Nicholas Jones, grandson, Cody Jones, granddaughter, Shelby Bloom, granddaughter, Taylor Bloom, grandson, Jacob Jones, granddaughter, Nicole Jones, grandson, Tyler Roper, grandson, Corey Lachance, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 1, 2009 at 7:00 PM from the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Buddy Pittman officiating. Music will be by James Dillard & Pamela McCray. Interment will follow in Toccoa Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers include: Charles Brackett, Edwin Long, William mashburn, Jerry Lesley, Keith Miller, Gerald Heaton, Chester Jones, Junior Dillinger, R.J. Ballew.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, June 1 from 5-7 PM.

In lieu of flowers family is requesting donations be made to Henry Cochran Funeeral Home in memory of Thomas Jones.
