Thelma Viola Rider (Satterfield)

Mrs. Thelma Viola Rider, age 78 of Suches, passed away March 7, 2013 at Heritage Healthcare Facility in Blue Ridge. Mrs. Rider was born April 16, 1934 in Dahlonega, GA to the late Tate Satterfield and the late Annaree Scarborough Saterfield. A member of Salem #1 Sugarhill Baptist Church, she was preceded in death by parents, Tate & Annaree Satterfield, husband, Ray J. Rider, Sr., brother, Jr. Satterfield.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Randall) Woody, son, Ray (Arlette)Rider Jr., granddaughter, Kimberly Garrett, granddaughter, Miranda Woody, sisters, Lucille Smith & Hazel Chester, brother, Ernest Satterfield, several nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2013 at 2:00 pm in the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tim Garrett officiating. Interment will follow in Sugarhill Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home, Sunday, March 10th from 10:00am until the service at 2:00pm.
