Tennie Jo Stephens Love

Tennie Jo Stephens Love, age 70, of Hapeville, GA, passed away Saturday, September 1, 2007 following an auto accident. Tennie Jo was born Thursday, February 18, 1937 in Fannin County. Georgia to the late Otto H. Stephens and the late Callie Dean Stephens. She was a member of Hapeville United Methodist Church and enjoyed traveling, fishing with her grandchildren and just spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael McKinney Love; brothers, James Veach Stephens, John Thomas (Tommy) Stephens and Lon Donald Stephens.

Survivors include: son, Michael Stephen Love of Hapeville, GA; daughter & son-in-law, Pamela Jo & Mark Coggins of Lawrenceville, GA; daughter & son-in-law, Suzanne Leigh & Jack Walker of Auburn, AL; sister, Delores Stephens Owenby of Culberson, NC; grandson, Michael Kendall of Statesboro, GA; grandson, Timothy Cagle of Haypeville, GA; grandson, Andrew Tyler Walker of Alburn, AL; grandson, Michael Alexander Walker of Alburn, AL; granddaughter, Anna Leigh Walker of Alburn, AL; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 9, 2007 at 2:00 PM from the Blue Ridge United Methodist Church with the Dr. John Brantley, Reverend Larry Williams and Reverend Grady Ray officiating. Music will be provided by Doris Reins. Interment will follow in Morganton Methodist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Joey Owenby, John Stephens, Dean West, Michael Harrison, James Freeman and Bill Stephens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-9, Saturday, September 8.
