Teddie "Rocky" Francis Holbrooks, Jr.

Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville announces the death and funeral services for Teddie F. "Rocky" Holbrooks, Jr., age 44, of Young Harris, Georgia, who passed away on Wednesday, February 23rd, 2022.

Mr. Holbrooks was born in Blairsville, Georgia, and was a member of The Rock Church in Dahlonega, Georgia.  He enjoyed woodworking as a hobby.

Surviving family members include his mother, Gail Ann Adams; his father, Teddie F. Holbrooks, Sr.; a son, Zachary Ryan Holbrooks; four sisters: Yolanda Gail Strickland, Chenoa Dawn Holbrooks-Abercrombie, Jessica Nicole Holbrooks, and Jacquine Lynn Holbrooks; niece, Hazel Sanchez; nephew, Cameron Strickland, and niece, Chalonda McDonald.  Many other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral services have been scheduled for Friday, March 11th, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., to be held in the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home.  The following gentlemen are requested to serve as pallbearers: Matt Ensley, Tony Hunter, John Martin, Jay Rennie, Ethan Roper, and Andy Patterson.  Requested to serve as honorary pallbearers are: Nephews;  Levi Abercrombie, and Kanon Abercrombie.  Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will be held at Cochran Funeral Home on Thursday evening, March 10th, between the hours of 6:00 p.m.until 9:00 p.m.
