Sue Lavinia Mitchell (Mitchell)

Ms. Sue Lavinia Mitchell, age 90 ,of Copperhill, passed away November 18, 2012 at Copper Basin Medical Center. Ms. Mitchell was born March 2, 1922 in Copperhill, TN to the late T. A. Mitchell and the late Lavinia McCue Mitchell. Sue was a member of the St. Mark's Epicopal Church.she graduated from Anges Scott
College in Decatur, GA with a BA degree. Sue also studied at Hans School of Fine Arts in New York, NY. She was on the Board of Directors of Ducktown Basin Museum.

Survivors include: friend, Carolyn Bishop, Brother, T. A. Mitchell Jr., niece, Cindy Barnett, niece, Diane Mitchell, and nephew, T. A. Mitchell III.

Funeral services: Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 2:00 pm, at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home with Fsther Victor Morgan officiating. Interment will follow in the Crestlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers: Frank Russell, James Sheffer, Brandon Shields, Jeff Collins, Don Campbell, and Ken Rush..

The family will receive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home of McCaysville, Wednesday, November 21, 2012 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm.
