Steven Oneal Akin

Steven Oneal Akin, age 67 of Blairsville, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2017 at the Stonehenge Assisted Living facility. Mr. Akin was born March 21, 1949 in Copperhill, TN. A member of The First Baptist Church of Epworth, he worked in the carpet industry for 40 years and enjoyed reading in his spare time.

Survivors include mother, Mollie Akin and several cousins.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Dr. Rev. Tom Jordan officiating. Music provided by Rev. Doug Simonds. Interment will follow in The First Baptist Church of Epworth Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home of McCaysville, Saturday, March 18, 2017 from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm.
