Stephen Fiske

Cochran Funeral Home and Crematory of Blairsville announces funeral services for Stephen Walter Fiske, age 74, of Blairsville, who passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2015 in Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.

Steve was a native of Boston, Massachusetts, and served in the U.S. Navy. Steve was a member of First Baptist Church of Blairsville, and had been on 7 mission trips to Africa. He had been instrumental in planting 4 churches in Zimbabwe. He loved his church and taught 4th grade Sunday School Class.

He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Lynn Fiske. Many friends also survive.

Funeral services for Steve have been scheduled for Thursday, April 9, 2015, at 2:00 p.m., to be held in the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville, with Dr. Fred Lodge officiating. There will be visitation at the funeral home starting at 12 noon on Thursday, the same day as the funeral. Burial will be in Pinetop Baptist Church Cemetery.
