Stella Elaine Waters

Mrs. Stella Elaine Waters, age 85 of Morganton, passed away August 10, 2014 at Heritage Health Care Of Blue Ridge. Mrs. Waters was born February 8, 1929 in Morganton, GA to the late D. P. Underwood and Rady Woody Underwood. A member of Wilscot Baptist Church, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Joseph Waters, father, D. P. Underwood, mother, Rady Underwood, sister, Geneva Cruse, brother, Dorsen Underwood, brother, Joe Underwood.

Survivors include: daughter, Vivian (Bill) Collins, daughter, Violet Bailey, daughter & son-in-law, Virginia (Milton) Huntley, son & daughter-in-law, Vernon (Susan) Waters, son & daughter-in-law, Victor (Marina) Waters, daughter & son-in-law, Victoria (Vince) Demsky, daughter & son-in-law, Vanette (Edmond) Merideth, brother, Evan (Ellen) Underwood, brother, Ethridge (Teny) Underwood, sister, Marie Addington, 17 Grandchildren, Kim, Daun, Dana Elaine, Ian, William, Crystal Elaine, Brett, Lana, V.J., Rachel, Robert, Caleb, Erica, Abigail, Bethany, Nathan, Elijah, and 12 Great Grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services: Thursday, August 14, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Victor Waters officiating. Interment will follow in Wilscot Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers: Robert Waters, Caleb Waters, Elijah Waters, William Collins, V.J. Demsky and Brett Huntley. Honorary pallbearers: Nathan Demsky and Reece Panter.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 13, 2014.
