Mr.Stanley Martin, age 84, of Copperhill, TN passed away November 19, 2009 at Copper Basin Medical Center in Copperhill, Tennessee.
Mr. Martin was born on April 3, 1925 in Monroe, TN, to Robert and Grace Martin. He was preceded in death by father, Robert L. Martin, mother, Grace Martin.
Survivors include: daughter, Sylvia Jean Austin of Chattanooga, Carolyn Sue Bray of Dalton, Patricia (Rodney) Parrish of Dalton ; sons, James (Tina) Robert Martin of Lafayett, GA; grandchildren, Robin Martin, Misty (Troy) Calhoun, Heather (Robert) Poole, Whiteny Martingr, Cale (Jill) Crowder, Ben Parrish, Collin Parrish; and five great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 22, 2009 at 2:00 PM from the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Postell, TN. Pallbearers will be grandchildren and nephews. Burial will follow in church cemetery.
The family will recive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Saturday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
