Shon Lee Woodall

Shon Lee “Woody” Woodall, 51, of Suches, GA, passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2021. Shon (aka "Woody") retired as a deputy sheriff from Fulton County, GA. He enjoyed many outdoor activities, including hiking, fishing and camping. Known for his love of family and community, Shon was always ready and willing to help a friend. His quick wit and sense of humor endeared him to many. He is survived by his father, Terry Lee Woodall (Ann), mother, Sandra Woodall, brother, Patrick Lee Woodall (Emily), step brothers, Dan, Matt & David Phillips, nieces Livvie Lee Woodall and Savanna Leigh Woodall and nephew Fletch Lee Woodall, and many other relatives.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday August 11th, 2021 from the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home with Rev. George Burch officiating. Interment will follow in the Coopers Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Suches, GA with Phillip Dunn, Marc Dunn, Derek Woodall, Fletch Woodall, Tommy Bacon, Marlon Jones all serving as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearer will be Rodney Harp.

The family will receive friends from 4:00pm until 8:00pm on Tuesday, August 10th at the Cochran Funeral Home & Crematory of Blairsville.
