Sherry Renee' Norton Dockery

Mrs. Sherry Renee' Norton Dockery, age 54, of Hiawasse, GA, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 24, 2018.

Mrs. Dockery was born on August 18, 1963 in Towns County, to the late William Troy & Lucille Jones Norton. A member of First Baptist Church of Young Harris, Mrs. Dockery enjoyed Wood burning and her Ipad but she especially loved her grand babies. With a bubbly and outspoken personality, she was the life of the party. Sherry will be remembered by all who knew her, but especially missed by her family: Husband, Tommy Dockery; Children, Jessie Smith (Michael), Kerri Mercer, Misty Mercer, Rachel Tyson (Ty), Jamey Dockery (Jessica) and Hannah Dockery; Brother, Scott Norton (Jill); Grandchildren, MaKenzie Smith, Blake Smith, MyLeigh Smith, Journie Quattlebaum, Damion Quattlebaum, Patience Nevaeh-Lou Hicks, Dawson Deacon, Scarlet Tyson, Jorgia Tyson and Zemery Dockery. Also sharing in her legacy are her nieces & Nephews, Amanda Brasseal ( Michael), Joseph Miller (Sable), Cody Norton and Lucas Norton, as well as several great nieces & nephews and several children she called as her own.

Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from Old Brasstown Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Stiles and Rev. Ricky Rogers officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Ty Tyson, Cody Norton, James Jerkins, Joseph Miller, Jamie Dockery, Michael Brasseal, and Mikey Smith.
