Shelby McCrickard

Shelby Ann McCrickard, 80, passed away Monday afternoon, November 11, 2024. She died peacefully at her home in Blairsville Georgia, with her son by her side. Shelby was born on January 2, 1944 in Woodstock Georgia. 

Her parents, siblings and her son, Sammy were waiting to greet her in Heaven. She loved her family and loved spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids. Shelby was a loving mother, grandmother and aunt. 

She is survived by her son Tim Towery of Blairsville Georgia, Grandsons Scott Lewis & his wife of Acworth Georgia, Cameron Holmes & his wife of Fort Mitchell, Alabama and Austin McCrickard & his wife of Powder Springs, Georgia. She had five great grandchildren Savannah Lewis, Blair & Dixie Holmes, Ryder & Paisley McCrickard and many nieces & nephews. 

A funeral will be held on Saturday, November 16th at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Cochran Funeral Home in Blairsville Georgia with Rev. Gary Ashe officiating. Family will recieve friends from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.

Her final resting place will be Little River in Woodstock Georgia. Family will receive friends on Friday, November 15th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
