Mrs. Shelby Jean Chastain, age 62 of Blue Ridge, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Atlanta. Mrs. Chastain was born Friday, September 8, 1944 in Fannin Co., GA to the late Tate Green and the late Martha Octavia Green . She was preceded in death by Husband Larry Chastain, Daughter Rene` Williamson, grandchildren Selena Nichole Campbell and William Blake Messer, brothers Everett Green and Carter Green.
Survivors include: daughter, Joan Campbell of Epworth, GA, daughter, Rhonda Loftis of Blue Ridge, daughter, Felicia Cowan of Blue Ridge, sister, Shirley Barnes of Blue Ridge, brother, Elbert Green of Summersville, SC, sister, Delia Green of Dalton, GA, grandchildren, Coley Campbell, Alicia Cowan, Shawn Messer, Trent Lowery, Alex Bll, Jessica Loftis, and Brian Adams.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 21, 2007 at 2:00 PM from the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home with the Reverend Marvin Poole officiating. Music will be provided by Leslie. Interment will follow in Barnes Chapel Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Coley Campbell, Jeramie Golden, Brian Lowery, Leon Bradford, Steve Geisler, Scott Cooie, David Conrad and J J Jigliotti.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11-2 Saturday.
