Shelby Everett

Mrs. Shelby Everett, 81, of Blairsville, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at Union General Hospital in Blairsville, GA. Shelby was born February 10th, 1942, in Cleveland, Georgia to Samuel and Ruby Dyer. 

Shelby was preceded in death by father, Samuel Dyer; mother, Ruby Dyer; husband, Richard Everett; brother, Ronald Dyer; and sister-in-law, Rachel Dyer.

She is survived by her many nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.

She was a member of Union Baptist Church. Shelby loved God, and was deeply religious. She loved her family and her cat. She liked to listen to gospel and old country music, and sang when no one was listening. To her family, she was known as an extremely hard worker.  
 
The service for Mrs. Shelby Everett will be held on Sunday, at 2:00 PM at Cochran Funeral Home & Crematory of Blairsville.
 
Visitation: Saturday, 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Cochran Funeral Home & Crematory of Blairsville .
 
Burial: Queen Cemetery, Blairsville, Georgia.
