Sharon Denise Farmer

Sharon Denise Farmer, age 59, of Chattanooga, passed away Saturday, July 24, 2021, at her home. Ms. Farmer was born August 27, 1961, in Ducktown, TN, to the late John Farmer, Jr., and the late Edna Earle Burger Farmer. She was a member of Woodland Park Baptist Church of Chattanooga and had worked for Fox 61 Chattanooga for 35 years. Sharon was very active in her church, enjoyed camping, traveling, reading, and spending time with friends. In her younger years, Sharon was an avid ballet dancer and enjoyed dancing throughout her life.. She was preceded in death by her father, John Farmer, Jr., mother, Edna Earle Burger Farmer, and brother, Greg Farmer.

Survivors include her brothers, Johnny (Donna) Farmer, and Tony (Evelyn) Farmer.

Funeral services: Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at 2:00 pm at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home of McCaysville, with Rev. Larry Russell and Dr. Tom Jordan, officiating. Interment will follow in the Crestlawn Cemetery in Copperhill, TN. Pallbearers: Jonathan Farmer, Jordan Farmer, Matthew Farmer, Jeff Farmer, Mark Burger, and Lee Whatley. Honorary pallbearers: Tylor Fuller and Mason Fuller.

The family will receive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home of McCaysville, Wednesday, July 28, 2021, 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm.
