Scott Taylor

Scott Taylor, age 62, of McCaysville, passed away Friday, January 1, 2021 at his residence surrounded by family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Paul & Fleta Taylor, brothers Terry & Berry Taylor, grandparents Marcus & Iowa Taylor and Walt & Birdie Ledford as well as mother-in-law Carolyn Housley. Scott was an avid Atlanta Falcons fan and loved his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Cindy; daughter Chante’ (Josh) Jackson of Powder Springs, grandkids Barrett & Iyla Jackson, brothers Mark and Mitchell (Helen), and niece Angie Taylor.
Visitation will be Monday, January 4th from 11:30 AM until 1 PM with the funeral following at 1 PM from the McCaysville Church of God with Rev. Tony Stallings, Rev. Chris Taylor and Rev. Mitchell Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery.
