Scott Daniel Long, age 54, of Morganton, GA, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, in Morganton, GA. Scott was born April 17, 1970, in Copperhill, TN to Daniel and Wanda Long.

Scott was preceded in death by his mother, Wanda Long, Father-in-law, Larry Green, and Mother-in-law, Wanda Green.

He is survived by his wife, Denise Long; father, Daniel Long; sons, Nathan (Jamie) Long (Son), Justin (Courtney) Long (Son), and Cody (Alexis) Long (Son), ; grandchildren, Andrew Long, Grayson Long, Everlee Long, Emersyn Long, Addie Long, Asher Long, Maverick Long, and Blakeleigh Long; and sisters, Melinda Wilbanks and Angela (Ches) Adkins.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Nathan Long, Justin Long, Cody Long, Charles Parrish, Wesley Long, and Brendlyn Phillips.

Honorary pallbearers: Adam Cruse and Ches Adkins.

Funeral services for Scott Long to be held at Cochran|McDaniel Funeral Home - Blue Ridge Chapel on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at 2:00 p.m with the Rev. Ronnie Abernathy officiating.

The Family will accept friends, Monday, October 21, at 5:00 p.m at the Cochran|McDaniel Funeral Home - Blue Ridge Chapel.

Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.
