Sandra Renee Long (Brooks)

Sandra Renee Long, age 53 of Epworth, Georgia, passed away October 23, 2011 at the Fannin Regional Hospital. Sandra was born September 2, 1958 in Copperhill, TN to Hubert and Shirley Holden Brooks. A member of the Epworth First Baptist Church, she was preceded in death by her father Hubert Brooks. She was a loving grandmother, dedicated wife and mother and loved her family dearly.

Survived by husband, Terry Long, daughter, Stephanie (Josh) Lacy, son, Brandon (Amanda) Long, mother, Shirley Brooks, 2 brothers, Gary Brooks & Kiley Brooks, 3 grandsons, Jimmy, Jordan, & Jaden Long, also many nieces & nephews & friends.

Funeral services took place Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home at 4:00pm with Dr. Tom Jordan officiating. Interment followed in the Epworth First Baptist Cemetery. Pallbearers include; Eulan Brooks, Bubba Sharp, Richard Bryson, Justin Bailey, Joshua Holder, Chris Decker, Jimmy Long. Honorary pallbearers will be, Richmond Holder and "Pickle" Bailey.
