Sandra "sis" Ann Helton

Mrs. Sandra "sis" Ann Helton, age 71 of Murphy, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2015 at the Murphy Medical Center Nursing Home. Sandra was born April 25, 1944 in Copperhill, TN to the late Edward Wilcox, Sr. and the late Effie Taylor Wilcox. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and canning in her spare time and she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include daughter, Cheryl Helton, brothers, Melvin Wilcox and Edward Wilcox, Jr., three grandchildren, Alexius Helton, Austin Helton and Heyli Colbert, two great-grandsons, Jorrden and Jayse Crowder and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 7:00 pm at the Cochran Funeral Home of Murphy. She will be laid to rest by her husband in Flax Creek Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Thursday, May 14, 2015, from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
