Sandra Mercer Lynch

Sandra Mercer Lynch, age 80, of Franklin, NC, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2016 in Asheville, NC. Sandra was born in Nashua, NH on November 12, 1935, a daughter of the late Boyd Elvin Mercer and the late Alice Evelyn French Mercer. She had worked as a senior staff auditor for NCNB Bank. Before moving to Franklin, Sandra lived in Blairsville, GA, and attended the House of Prayer Interdenominational Church.

Surviving family members include daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Stephen Shiner; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Lana Lynch; three grandchildren: Christopher Lynch, Katelyn Bullis, and Sarah Shiner; two great grandchildren: Camryn and Cameron. Besides her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by a son, William Lynch; and a brother, Ralph Mercer.

Memorial services have been scheduled for 12:00 p.m., on Saturday, October 15, 2016, to be held at the House of Prayer Interdenominational Church in Blairsville. The family will meet with friends at the church for one hour prior to the service.
