Mrs. Sandra Lynn Newman, age 65, of McCaysville, passed away April 24, 2012 at . Mrs. Newman was born December 18, 1946 in Polk County, TN to the late Carmel Newman and the late Thelma Pickelsimer Newman.. She was a member of the McCaysville Church of God, she was preceded in death by her parents and one son Kenny Harris.

Survivors include: granddaughter, Skyla Allman, daughter, Shelby Harris, sister, Annette Newman, sister, Alice Moore, sister, Brenda Collis, brother, Hoyte Newman, granddaughter, Kendra Harris and great grandson, Noah Allman.

Graveside services: Thursday, April 26, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the Crestlawn Cemetery with the Rev. Roger Hyatt officiating.
