Sandra Brooms

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sandra Brooms.  She passed away on December 18th, 2023. She was 67 years old. Sandra was a very special person. She was a very proud wife, mother, gran, sister, and friend. Sandra was a hair stylist in Robbinsville, NC. She had many of the same clients for 20 years. She loved with her whole heart and the people around her knew it. She was full of warmth and joy. She understood, she cared, and she said “I love you” every chance she got. She had an amazing sense of humor and the most contagious laughter. She was always kind, loving, funny, witty, and fearless in spite of anything she faced. She leaves behind an enormous legacy of love and kindness. 

Sandra is survived by her husband Eddie Brooms, their daughter Jennifer Oakey, their daughter Stephanie Oakey and daughter-in-law Kayla Patterson, their son Nate Brooms, daughter-in-law Jackie Brooms, and their granddaughter Rylee Brooms, their son Eddie Brooms, daughter-in-law Dede Brooms, and grandchildren Daylee, Eddie, and Delaney Brooms. She is also survived by her brother and best friend Roger Jenkins, her best friend Molly Sawyer, and her best friends Beverly and Sante Ferrante. 

Sandra is preceded in death by her mother Beth Garrison, her father Willard Jenkins, her step-father George Garrison, and her sister-in-law Nancy Jenkins. 

 A celebration of life has not been scheduled yet. The family will be having one, but when they are ready.
