Dr. Samuel Wallace Webb, age 92 of Murphy, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at his home. Dr. Webb was born April 12, 1920 in Patterson, OH to the late Schuyler and Ethel McCumber Webb. He served in the US Army during WWII and the Korean War leaving with a rank of Major QMC USAR and he was a survivor of the attack on Pearl Harbor. Afterwards, Samuel went on to earn his Doctorate in Dentistry.
Survivors include his loving wife, Judy Webb, one son, Bill Webb of LaGrange, TX, three daughters, Sandra Warren of Fort Worth, TX, Kathy Hines of Kenton, OH and Brenda Smith of Roswell, GA, eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held in Abilene, TX with the Elmwood Funeral Home handling arrangements.
